‘Existential Threat’ is Russia’s Nuclear Trigger, Alipov States

by admin477351

An “existential threat” is the trigger for Russia’s potential use of nuclear weapons, Ambassador Denis Alipov stated, arguing this is why Russia cannot lose the Ukraine war.

“We have in our doctrine that if there is an existential threat to us, there is a possibility of its use,” Alipov said, outlining his country’s red line.

This, he argued, is the “simple” reason why Russia “can’t be taken over” in the conflict, now approaching its fourth year.

He was sharply critical of European nations, whom he accused of “childish behavior” and “belligerence.”

He also claimed that Donald Trump “understands” this “futility” and knows the war “is lost by Ukraine and the West.”
